How much can I earn as a driver?

A class C Driver can earn up to £485 per week and Class C+E driver can earn approx. £600 per week, this should increase with experience.

How will I get my first job without experience?

Many agencies will take you on without experience and there is a shortage of LGV Drivers so you have that as your advantage.

Why would any haulage company employ a new driver?

Many haulage companies will be happy to employ new drivers because they can mould them into the job that is required without the bad habits.

Do you offer a guaranteed pass scheme?

There is no such thing as a guaranteed pass, like in many tests you make a mistake you fail. The “guarantee pass” term is just a marketing ploy to get you to book with companies that offer this.

What is the difference between HGV and LGV?

There is no difference HGV – Heavy Goods Vehicle and LGV – Large Goods Vehicle

Do I need to go to my own doctor for my medical?

No, however if you wish you can but enquire as to the price as often they can charge from £50 - £160 for a medical. We however have a list of GPs in the area that have fees from £40.00 - £55. Ask or details.
